Pet mesh is the heavy vinyl coated polyester that survives claws.\n\nRescreening a frame\n\nTake the old spline out, lay the new mesh over the frame with a little spare all round, roll the spline back into the channel and trim the excess with a blade. Keep the mesh under a light, even tension so it does not ripple.\n\nCut piece or roll\n\nThis is the cut piece, sized for one or two windows. If you are doing a whole house or a patio enclosure, the fiberglass screen roll is the cheaper way to buy the same mesh.",
