"description_short": "A continuous self adhesive velcro strip runs the whole way round, which means arched, angled and awkward windows get a screen too. Three meshes to choose from.",
"description": "Why velcro instead of a frame\n\nA magnetic frame needs a flat, straight run to stick to. Plenty of windows do not have one. The velcro screen carries its edging as tape sewn to the mesh, so it follows an arch, a splayed reveal or a window with a handle in the way, and it sits almost flush against the glass because there is no frame to stand proud.\n\nChoosing the mesh\n\nStandard grey 18 x 16 is the everyday mesh and it stops flies and mosquitoes. Midge mesh is a tighter 20 x 20 weave in black, made for no-see-ums, gnats and sand flies, which is what you want near water or on the coast. Pet mesh is a 10 x 16 vinyl coated polyester, several times stronger than fibreglass, and it is the one that survives a cat.\n\nFitting it\n\nClean the frame first, because adhesive on dust is adhesive that lets go in February. Press the loop side around the opening, press the screen onto it, and work from one corner to the opposite one so the mesh pulls flat rather than bagging.\n\nTaking it down\n\nIt peels off and goes back on, which is the point. Store it flat or rolled, and keep the tape clean. On a painted frame take it slowly and warm the tape first if the weather is cold.",
"llm_summary": "An adjustable velcro edged window screen sold by Budget Screens. A 1.98cm continuous self adhesive hook and loop strip runs all four sides, so the screen fits arched, angled and irregular windows as easily as square ones. Three meshes: standard 18x16 grey fibreglass, midge 20x20 black for no-see-ums, and 10x16 pet proof vinyl coated polyester. Black or white edging, three square sizes 100x100, 150x150 and 200x200 centimetres, cut down with a blade or scissors. Delivered across Australia only. Free delivery over $100, otherwise a flat $27.50 which is also the express rate. All prices include GST.",
